Recently, the results of the 5th “Chaoxing Cup” Jilin Provincial University Teachers’ Teaching Innovation Competition were officially released. Teachers from JISU have won 2 first prizes, 5 second prizes and 8 third prizes. Among them, Zhao Zijun from the School of English and Feng Dianhua from the School of Marxism won the first prizes; Zhou Shujuan from the School of Central and Eastern European Languages, Liu Tingting from the School of International Arts, Zhang Yuhui from the School of English, Wang Haiyan from the School of International Culture and Tourism, and Zhang Dingli from the School of International Commerce won the second prizes; Zhang Kexin from the School of Artificial Intelligence, Yu Xiaohua from the School of English, Zheng Xinxin from the School of Teaching and Pedagogy, Ying Shi and Fu Liang from the School of Oriental Languages, Zhu Weijian from the School of International Culture and Tourism, Song Xiaojie from the School of Physical Education, and Zhu Sining from the School of International Commerce won the third prizes.
Centering on the theme of building a high-quality education system, this competition has further advanced the reform of higher education and teaching, effectively supported the development of “New Engineering, New Medical Science, New Agricultural Science and New Liberal Arts,” comprehensively promoted the integration of ideological and political education into curricula, and deepened the practical implementation of industry-education integration.
The outstanding achievements in this competition fully affirm the teaching innovation capabilities and education quality of JISU’s teachers, and also serve as a concrete result of the university’s consistent practice of “promoting teaching, reform and innovation through competitions.” Taking this opportunity, JISU will continue to build diversified competition platforms, optimize the teacher development support system, continuously stimulate teachers’ internal motivation to engage in teaching reform, further strengthen the construction of the teaching team, and make teaching innovation a distinctive hallmark of JISU’s teaching reform and talent cultivation.
