Hosted by the International Language and Culture Practical Teaching Center (the Global Village), the competition drew upon the unique resources of 26 distinctive language villages. With 126 cultural elements serving as the core subject matter, the event gathered representative teams to compete on the same stage. The competition aimed to unlock the mysteries of diverse world civilizations and to put into practice the educational philosophy of “Be an excellent Chinese with proficiency in foreign language to tell China’s stories well.”

The finals comprised three segments: Required Questions, Open Questions, and a Buzzer Round. The Required Questions segment covered the entire spectrum of cultural materials within the Global Village, ranging from folk customs and artistic symbols to general knowledge of regional history. In the Open Questions segment, teams randomly selected two cultural elements from their respective villages for on-site interpretation, delivering presentations that integrated the actual pavilion settings with cultural narratives. During the Buzzer Round, teams raced against the clock using a digital buzzer system, testing their reflexes and knowledge reserves in split-second battles.

After intense competition, the German Village was crowned the Grand Champion. The Hungarian Village and Japanese Village secured the First Prize; the Russian Village, English Village, French Village, Polish Village, Portuguese Village, and Czech Village received the Second Prize; and the African Village, Serbian Village, Chinese Village, Spanish Village, and Arabic Village were awarded the Third Prize.

The World Multicultural Knowledge Competition is a signature “second classroom” practical activity rooted in the school’s “Global Village of JISU.” It serves to broaden students’ international horizons, enrich cross-cultural knowledge, and promote exchange and mutual learning among diverse world cultures. The school remains committed to organizing diverse cultural practical activities to cultivate high-caliber talents in foreign languages and foreign affairs who possess both devotion to family and country and a global perspective.
