In his keynote speech, Wang Jianhui pointed out that Chinese and Uzbek musical cultures share a high degree of commonality in upholding their national identities. Chinese ethnic music has always regarded the national spirit as the soul of music. By adhering to the cultural philosophy of “making the past serve the present and making foreign things serve China,” it has continuously integrated modern Western musical techniques, taken on new forms, and stepped onto the international stage. Today, it has become a representative of world ethnic music cultures.
This participation fully demonstrates the School of International Arts’ s academic vitality in the field of international art education and has also established a platform for cooperation in art education exchanges between China and Uzbekistan. The School of International Arts will continue to promote international exchanges and cooperation, using art as a medium to tell China’ s story well and convey China’s voice.
