Recently, the results of the 6th “Chaoxing Cup” Jilin Provincial University Teachers’ Teaching Innovation Competition were officially released. Teachers from JISU have won 4 first prizes, 5 second prizes and 7 third prizes. Among them, Li Jun from the School of International Commerce, Zhang Huansen from the School of International Finance and Trade, Feng Dianhua from the School of Marxism, and Jia Min from the School of International Arts won the first prize. Jia Min will represent Jilin Province in the National Finals.
Jia Min teaches the course “Appreciation of Famous Chinese and Foreign Piano Works”.
Li Jun teaches the course “Hotel Customer Management”.
Zhang Huansen teaches the course “Statistics”.
Feng Dianhua teaches the course “An Introduction to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era”.
Organized by the Education Department of Jilin Province and hosted by Yanbian University, the competition brought together 560 teaching teams from 43 universities across the province to compete, marking a record-high participation scale. Centered on building a high-quality education system, the competition strives to further deepen teaching reforms in higher education. It fully supports the development of emerging engineering education, emerging medical education, emerging agricultural education and emerging new liberal arts education. The competition also promotes the effective implementation of curriculum-based ideological and political education, and boosts the integrated and coordinated development of industry-education integration, artificial intelligence empowerment, as well as the integration of science and education.
The outstanding achievements in this competition fully affirm the teaching innovation capabilities and education quality of JISU’s teachers.Taking this opportunity, JISU will continue to build diversified competition platforms, optimize the teacher development support system, continuously stimulate teachers’ internal motivation to engage in teaching reform, further strengthen the construction of the teaching team, and make teaching innovation a distinctive hallmark of JISU’s teaching reform and talent cultivation.
