On the evening of March 27, President Qin He led international faculty members to Songyuan Cafe in Jilin Province to sample specialty coffee and then to the Jilin Concert Hall to enjoy an orchestral concert. The event offered an immersive experience of the cultural charm and artistic ambiance of Changchun, Jilin Province, fostering cross-cultural exchanges and mutual learning.
President Qin He expressed her hope that the international faculty would come to appreciate Jilin, fall in love with it, and choose to remain in Changchun and at JISU for the long term through these activities. She encouraged them to wholeheartedly share the stories of Jilin and JISU with warmth and dedication, contributing their wisdom and strength to cultivating high-caliber globally competent talents and supporting the comprehensive revitalization and development of Jilin Province.

At Songyuan Cafe, President Qin He and the international faculty sampled specialty coffee beverages and listened as the barista introduced the uniquely crafted “Auspicious Land of Jilin: Jilin Characteristic” creative blends. Krisztina from Hungary remarked, “The decor of Songyuan Cafe blends classic Chinese elegance with modern simplicity, allowing us to appreciate the rich cultural atmosphere while enjoying our coffee.”

Later, President Qin He led the international faculty into the Jilin Concert Hall to enjoy a splendid orchestral concert. The beautiful melodies and brilliant performances drew rounds of applause from the international faculty. Diego from Spain exclaimed excitedly, “This is my first time hearing such wonderful orchestral music live in China—it's absolutely breathtaking!”
