On December 16, at the 2025 Conference on Coordinated International Communication held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, Jilin International Studies University (JISU) and China International Communications Group (CICG) formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Professor Qin He, President of Jilin International Studies University, and Gao Anming, Editor-in-Chief of CICG, signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides respectively.

Under the agreement and in line with the principle of “resource sharing and coordinated development,” the two sides will pursue all-round cooperation across multiple areas, covering the development of high-caliber translation teaching teams, the building of a Northeast Asia cultural communication base, the joint establishment of think tanks for country and regional studies, collaboration on major translation projects, strengthened training for translation talents and practical teaching, and shared academic exchange platforms, all in support of China’s national capacity-building in international communication and greater global influence for Chinese discourse.

This strategic partnership with China International Communications Group represents a major milestone for JISU, embodying its educational commitment to serving China’s “Going Global” strategy, advancing industry-education integration, and enhancing disciplinary development and social-service capacity. Drawing on distinctive strengths in multilingualism and cross-cultural expertise, JISU will bring its professional strengths to bear on developing a strategic communication system with distinct Chinese characteristics and amplifying the global reach and influence of Chinese civilization.
