On July 8, the signing ceremony for the cooperative partnership between the School of International Relations at Jilin International Studies University and the Hunchun City People’s Procuratorate was held in the conference room on the second floor of the International Exchange Center. In attendance were Wen Changhai, Full-time Member of the Procuratorial Committee of the Yanbian Prefecture People’s Procuratorate; Lin Quan, Party Group Secretary and Chief Procurator of the Hunchun City People’s Procuratorate; and Shi Wanqing, Dean of the School of International Relations. The ceremony was presided over by Dong Zheng, Vice Dean of the School of International Relations.

During the ceremony, the two parties signed the “Procuratorate-University Cooperative Partnership Agreement” and the “Party Building Cooperation Agreement.” Both sides expressed that this collaboration represents a mutual commitment between “theory” and “practice” and that it is of great significance in promoting the deep integration of legal education and judicial practice. Guided by the principles of “resource sharing, complementary advantages, and collaborative innovation” the partnership will focus on extensive cooperation in areas such as foreign-related rule of law. It will advance all-round collaboration in talent cultivation, practical skills training, applied research, and career planning services, enabling resource integration and complementary strengths. This initiative will provide solid support for nurturing legal talents with practical capabilities, bilingual skills, and a global perspective.
This cooperation is an important measure by both sides to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, fulfill the mission of rule of law in the new era, and advance the national “Belt and Road” Initiative, the Northeast Revitalization Strategy, and Jilin Province’s high-level opening-up requirements. In the future, the two parties will work hand in hand to continuously deepen cooperation, innovate collaborative models, and contribute more to the construction of a law-based society.
