Recently, Son Sangho, the Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shenyang, accompanied by his two entourage, paid a visit to Jilin International Studies University (JISU) for a deep discussion centering on cooperation in areas such as culture and education.

Officials accompanied the visit are Zhu Wei, the Chief Officer of the Administrative Office from the Foreign Affairs Office of Jilin Province, and Yu Xiaoqiang, the Minister of the Cultural Exchange Ministry from Jilin Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Wang Zhiguo, the Vice President of JISU, Song Dandan, the Director of the Office of International Exchanges and Cooperation, Chen Huiyong, the Chair of the Korean Department, and other related staff hosted those respectable visitors.

The meeting hinged on deep bilateral cooperation in the future, involving various aspects, such as cooperative contribution to the Global Village, exhibits donation, studying-abroad services, joint activities such as the China-South Korea Youth Forum and the Korean Public Speaking Contest, which will encourage information sharing and resource exchanges. Both parties expressed their commitment to deepening cooperation across multiple fields, working together to propel China-South Korea cultural exchanges and educational cooperation to a new level.

During the visit, Consul Son Sangho and his entourage also toured the Global Village, the JISU Library, and the International Exchanges Center, applauding high-level international schooling and high-quality education resources.
