The book donation ceremony was held at the Polish Village of the Global Village of JISU. On behalf of The Polish Institute – Culture Service of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beijing, Ms. Joanna Karmasz donated over 40 sets of original Polish books and cultural materials to the Polish major. She expressed the hope that these books would assist students in studying the Polish language more in-depth and understanding Polish history and society, and encouraged them to maintain their enthusiasm for learning and continuously enhance their professional competence.

Following the ceremony, students of the Polish major presented performances including a saxophone solo, a themed speech, and recitations of classic poems for the visiting guests. The students also performed a choral rendition of the classic Polish song The Sun Is Shining over the Whole City, fully demonstrating their solid linguistic foundation and cultural literacy.

This event enriched the teaching resources of the Polish major and showcased the students’ linguistic proficiency and artistic talents. The School of Central and Eastern European Languages will continue to deepen international cooperation and diversify collaboration forms, aiming to cultivate more composite foreign language talents equipped with a global vision and cross-cultural communication capabilities.
