Launch of the “National University Ideological and Political Education Agent Platform” and the “i Ideological and Political Education Large Model”
The event brought together experts, scholars, and faculty and student representatives from universities across the country to explore new directions and initiatives for AI-powered ideological and political education. The “National University Ideological and Political Education Agent Platform” released at the event was developed by E-Class (Yiban) using cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies. By introducing China’s most advanced agent platform technologies and large-scale AI models, the platform establishes an authoritative, comprehensive, and precise “ideological and political education corpus,” providing universities with a more interactive, precise, and guided agent development platform for ideological and political education. The platform effectively addresses common challenges faced by universities in building their own agents, such as high capital investment, high technical thresholds, and lengthy development cycles. The i Ideological and Political Education Large Model is a specialized vertical large model independently developed by the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), built on over 2 million sets of ideological and political education training data, providing professional large model and agent services for the platform. The launch of the platform provides a solid and powerful technological foundation for universities to carry out ideological and political education in the new era and to iteratively upgrade digital-era online education for students.
JISU has actively advanced online ideological and political education, innovatively constructing a “1+5+N” integrated working mechanism. Under the guidance of the university’s Online Ideological and Political Education Leadership Group, and relying on the Online Ideological and Political Education Center, the E-Class Development Center, and the University Media Center, as well as new media platforms operated by various schools and departments and student online cultural workshops established based on academic programs, the university actively explores an interconnected, collaborative, and integrated and multi-level online ideological and political education system with distinctive JISU characteristics. In the process of online ideological and political education and E-Class co-construction, the university focuses on its educational features, program characteristics, and student attributes, leverages the advantages of new media platforms, integrates high-quality resources from both on and off campus, strengthens student ideological guidance, and enhances the appeal and effectiveness of online ideological and political education, gradually forming a new model of online ideological and political education with JISU characteristics.
Moving forward, the university will take this pilot opportunity to further implement the strategic plans for building a leading country in education, seize the strategic opportunities presented by artificial intelligence, advance the high-quality development of the Ideological and Political Education Agent Platform, and contribute JISU’s strength to the digital and intelligent transformation of ideological and political education.
