On December 25, 2025, the second season of “Jilin Invites You to Ski – Nationwide College Students” and the “Ice and Snow Promotion Ambassador” College Ice and Snow Talent Cultivation Program was launched in Changchun. Chen Jiahui, a student of the Class of 2025 majoring in International Affairs and International Relations from the School of International Relations, was elected as an “Ice and Snow Promotion Ambassador” and delivered a speech on behalf of the ambassadors at the launching ceremony.

This event is a continuation of the “Jilin Invites You to Ski – Nationwide College Students” series launched by Jilin Daily last winter season. This year, the program officially initiated the College Ice and Snow Talent Cultivation Plan, recruiting one hundred “Ice and Snow Promotion Ambassadors” and building a collaborative bridge among media, universities, and college student influencers. With the tripartite participation, students are encouraged to create short videos showcasing “viral” ice and snow scenic spots and their enjoyable experiences while savoring the winter wonders. They will also serve as e-commerce intern anchors for Jilin Daily, promoting ice and snow tourism products through their social media accounts, and telling the stories of Jilin’s ice and snow from a youthful perspective. Since the call for applications was launched in mid-December 2025, over 500 college students from across the country who are either from Jilin or studying in Jilin have enthusiastically signed up. After a selection process evaluating creativity, content creation enthusiasm, and follower counts, 100 “Ice and Snow Promotion Ambassadors” were ultimately chosen.

Chen Jiahui, who shares glimpses of her daily life on Douyin under the name “Mumu,” often posts videos about the local culture and customs of Jilin, amassing nearly 430,000 followers. In an interview with a reporter, Chen Jiahui stated, “Being selected as an ‘Ice and Snow Promotion Ambassador’ is not only an honor but also a significant responsibility. I will leverage a youth perspective and vibrant expression to passionately promote Jilin’s ski resorts, ice and snow parks, and distinctive local products, infusing this icy wonderland with youthful vitality through concrete actions.”
