The 2025 Tian Jiabing Cup National Teaching Skills Competition for Master of Education Students is a premier national contest for Master of Education programs in the field of English education. Centered on the theme “English Classroom Practice under the New Curriculum Standards,” this year’s finals comprised four major segments: instructional design, on-site teaching, teaching reflection, and a Q&A session with the judges. These segments were designed to comprehensively assess the contestants’ practical teaching capabilities. A total of 152 contestants from 78 universities nationwide advanced to the finals.
This outstanding achievement fully demonstrates the notable effectiveness of the School of English in cultivating high‑quality Master of Education students. Building on this success, the school will further deepen teaching reform, upgrade the “course‑training‑competition” model, encourage more students to participate in national-level competitions, and contribute to producing more highly competent professionals for the field of English education.
