On June 4th, the School of International Arts held the Internship Achievement Report Meeting for the Broadcasting and Hosting Arts Major of the Class of 2022. All students from the class completed a three-week professional internship at 12 partner units, including Jilin Radio and Television Station’s Variety and Culture Channel (Channel 7), the All-Media Center of the Jilin Provincial Fire and Rescue Brigade, and Jilin Provincial Internet Media Co., Ltd. (Jilin News Network). They fulfilled all tasks assigned during their internship.

Liu Tingting, vice dean of the School of International Arts, presided over the meeting. During the meeting, Liu shared the feedback from the internship units and delivered guidance on areas such as academic studies and internship practices. She noted that the internship units had reported a highly positive performance from the students, who demonstrated a solid professional foundation, a proactive attitude, and a strong capacity for execution and learning-all hallmarks of a competent media professional. She urged students to diligently reflect on this experience and apply their insights to enhance professional skills and overall competence in their future studies and careers.

Taking groups as unit, the students made report summaries on this internship. They all stated that through this professional internship, they had deepened their understanding of the work in the media industry and would devote themselves to subsequent study and work with a positive and serious attitude, embracing the spirit of lifelong learning, and making full preparations for smooth employment in the future.
