Recently, on the opening of a plenary session of the 14th committee of the All China Youth Federation and the 28th national congress of the All-China Students’ Federation, held in Beijing, President Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, President of the State, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission sent a congratulatory letter, in which he extended congratulations on behalf of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and conveyed greetings to young students of all ethnic groups and from all sectors of life across the country, as well as to young Chinese overseas.
The Student Union of JISU was successfully elected as a member of the 28th national congress of the All-China Students’ Federation. Xianghan Liu, a member of the Student Union’s presidium and a student from Class 2202 of accounting major of the School of International Commerce, participated in this session as a formal representative throughout the event.

JISU Student Union upholds the principle of serving students wholeheartedly, and with the guidance of mastering a foreign language, being a truly Chinese man and telling Chinese stories vividly, it plays a leading role in encouraging students to constantly improve professional performance and comprehensive abilities. By fully leverages disciplinary strengths, the Student Union builds extensive platforms for youth development through volunteer services, cultural exchanges, and international communication initiatives.
Becoming a member of the 28th national congress of the All-China Students’ Federation is a recognition and encouragement for the Student Union’s work. It holds a milestone significance and far-reaching implications for further enhancing the political awareness, regulating its organizational development, and expanding its perspectives.
Our university will seize this opportunity to guide the Student Union in optimizing its operational systems and building a team of student leaders who are politically upright, professionally competent, and strictly disciplined. We will deepen ideological guidance to help students strengthen their ideals and convictions, while enhancing the Student Union’s role as a bridge to better voice students’ concerns and support their development. By implementing initiatives such as the Student Leader Mentorship Program and the “Academic Plus Action” Plan, and leveraging multilingual advantages in cross-cultural communication and international outreach, our university will cultivate more high-quality talents with both global perspectives and deep patriotism. Through these efforts, JISU students will contribute their youthful energy to telling China's stories well and serving national development.
