Recently, the 4th CMAU National College Student Market Research and Business Planning Competition, hosted by the National Market Research Association of Colleges and Universities, came to a successful conclusion. Lin Chengcheng and Qin Ruyi, MBA 2024 graduate students from the School of International Commerce, along with Li Yimo and Li Jiahui, 2023 undergraduate students from the Digital Marketing Department, formed a joint team of both undergraduate and graduate students. This team secured the first prize in the national finals with the highest overall score. Their advisors, Zhao Zixiang and Xu Xiaoxiang, were awarded the Excellent Advisor Award, and JISU was honored with the Best Organization Award.

The CMAU National College Student Market Research and Business Planning Competition is hosted by the China Marketing Association of Colleges and Universities. A total of 2,881 teams from 508 universities successfully submitted their entries, and ultimately 108 teams were selected to advance to the national finals this year.
The award is a prominent manifestation of the results of the “cross-disciplinary + market-oriented + practice-empowered” and “undergraduate and graduate integrated” training model of the School of International Commerce. Relying on the construction of high-level disciplines (majors) with characteristics of Jilin Province, the school has built an innovative talent cultivation system that promotes learning and teaching through competitions by means of interdisciplinary team formation, industry-university-research cooperation, etc. In the future, the school will further integrate resources inside and outside the school to build a broader competition and practice platform for students, and cultivate more high-quality composite business talents with both professional literacy and innovation ability.
