On July 17, Zhu Weidong, Vice President of Saint Peter’s University, and Jiang Lan, Director of the Chinese Program, visited Jilin International Studies University and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on educational cooperation between the two universities. They were received by Wang Zhiguo, Vice President of JISU, Song Dandan, Director of the Office of International Exchanges and Cooperation, along with other relevant staff.

The two universities held in-depth discussions and reached consensus on the Master’s “1+1” program and the Bachelor-Master’s “4+1” integrated program. They also agreed to jointly establish a “Chinese Language Education Co-construction Project,” contributing to advancing Sino-U.S. educational cooperation and cultural exchange.

During the visit, the U.S. delegation toured the university library, Global Village, and International Exchange Center. They spoke highly of the international, modern, and eco-friendly educational and teaching environment, as well as the immersive practical learning experiences carefully fostered by JISU.
