Meeting on Talent Cultivation for International Organizations
The meeting on talent cultivation for international organizations was held at JISU’s Global Village. Assistant to the President Zuo Yuling, along with relevant heads from the Academic Affairs Office, the Institute of International Organizations, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, and the Global Village, attended the meeting.
Mr. Fabrizio Hochschild shared his insights on the current status and future trends of talent cultivation for international organizations. He pointed out that the current global landscape is complex and ever-changing, increasing the demand for highly skilled professionals in international organizations. Jilin International Studies University has demonstrated significant advantages in cultivating talent with international perspectives and cross-cultural communication skills, particularly in the areas of multilingual education and international cooperation and exchange. These achievements are worthy of reference and promotion. He emphasized the need to further strengthen cooperation with international organizations, actively participate in internship and volunteer programs offered by the United Nations and other international organizations, and help students accumulate practical experience while enhancing their professional competencies. Additionally, he suggested offering more elective courses related to international organizations to enrich students’ knowledge and improve their ability to adapt to global challenges.
This exchange activity provided valuable practical experience and theoretical support for talent cultivation in international organizations. JISU will further optimize its curriculum and teaching methods to enhance students’ comprehensive qualities and global competence.
